These day sailing experiences are not aimed at absolute beginners, you really need some sailing experience to attend these experiences. However you will have a local expert skipper onboard so you don`t need to be a master mariner either.

Our Bavaria 38 is a performance sailing yacht designed to add a big grin to anyone on her helm. She boasts an amazing sail pack including carbon jib & main sail, code zero and gennaker. With the latest electronics and elegant interior she is simply a cut above the average Bavaria, Jeanneau & Beneteau cruising yacht often found drifting around the Solent.
We run lots of open dates for these events where you can just book the places you require and share the day with others for just £99 pp. Or you can book the whole yacht for £599 for 6 sailors plus our skipper.
The day runs from 10am to about 5pm. We ask that you bring a packed lunch but there is always plenty of tea, coffee, water and soft drinks onboard. We can loan you waterproofs if you don`t have any. None marking footwear please.
The aim of the day is to go faster than everyone else whilst enjoying the views of the Solent and simply to have fun.
Where Do We Sail To
Being based in Southampton which is in the western Solent gives us plenty of options. We have the famous Needles lighthouse and rocks about 8 miles to the west with Alum Bay as a lunchtime anchoring stop.
Your skipper will always suggest the best route based on weather and tide. Just bring a packed lunch as we will take care of the rest. The yacht always has plenty of tea, coffee and soft drinks.
